Linx Electronics, developer of the "Casper" technology for DTV reception, has named Robert M. Rast as president and COO. Rast joins Dr. Wayne Li, who continues as CEO.
Rast is formerly president and CEO of DemoGraFX, a Los Angeles-based video processing company. Rast has also held executive positions at Dolby, General Instrument and RCA. He holds 13 U.S. patents.
