Leitch’s Opus HD digital master control switcher provides dual-channel effects/squeezes, audio processing capabilities, keys, audio overs and quick selects.

The YES Network, the regional network for telecasts of New York Yankees baseball games, has purchased Leitch’s master control equipment for HD broadcasts.

The purchase includes Leitch’s Opus HD master control switcher, Integrator and Panacea routing switchers, and NEO advanced applications modules, including the LogoMotion II branding solution and NEO SuiteView modular multi-source display processor.

Leitch’s Opus HD digital master control switcher provides dual-channel effects/squeezes, audio processing capabilities, keys, audio overs, and quick selects. The NEO applications platform offers a suite of HD, SDI, analog audio/video and AES modules, including frame synchronizers, upconverters and downconverters and content branding with LogoMotion II.

The NEO SuiteView modular multi-source display processor features auto-format detecting inputs that support all formats including HD, with resolutions up to UXGA. Integrator large-scale routers handle all signal formats from analog audio/video to HDTV within the same frame.
