Large Screen Displays unveils diffusion blend rear projection screen

Large Screen Displays is now shipping its new PiDSBLEND projected images diffusion blend screen. This new rear-projection screen will make its formal debut at InfoComm, June 9-11.
PiDSBLEND is a single element diffusion widescreen blending two projectors into one large image, creating a visually striking display for the viewing audience. The PiDSBLEND offers gain selection of 0.7:1 and a screen size up to 9-inches high and 25-inches wide, making this the ideal screen for the visualization, simulation and presentation environments. This screen’s versatility allows it to be used virtually anywhere.
Edge blending of the image is required and multiple display sources will be used. The company said the PiDSBLEND rear-projection screen was a response to an emerging market for diffusion blend widescreens being created by the proliferation of image-blend processors and switchers being offered by manufacturers. PiDSBLEND is intended to complement the company’s existing PiroBrite family of rear-projection screens thereby diversifying the choices for system integrations.
