KWCH Connects with System from Riedel
By TVTechnology published
Wichita, Kansas based broadcaster KWCH recently installed a digital matrix intercom solution from Riedel Communications.
The system is comprised of a Riedel Artist 128 intercom, nine Artist 1000 series control panels, a C44 system interface, seven C3 Performer beltpacks, two Artist Connect Solo interfaces and 10 closed Riedel PRO headsets.
The Artist 1000 panels provide digital quality sound and matrices allow expansion of up to 1,024 x 1,024 non-blocking ports, while the C44 integrates the existing partyline system into the messaging infrastructure.
”The Riedel Artist system gives us exactly the flexibility we need,” said KWCH Director of Engineering Les Bach. “Not only in terms of port assignment and routing – but also in terms of size, because the Riedel Artist is an intercom technology that grows with us.”
