Inscriber ships new Inca RTX CG system

Inca RTX is used to create custom applications for the display of real-time information in sports, elections, weather and news broadcasts.

Inscriber's Inca RTX, a new custom broadcast display application, is now shipping. Inca RTX is used to create custom applications for the display of real-time information in sports, elections, weather and news broadcasts.

Inca RTX interfaces directly with Inscriber video hardware, allowing broadcasters to create applications to drive tickers, split screens and multi-zone displays, and link with live data feeds. It supports SDI fill and key input and output, and provides software codec support for the playback of various video formats such as DV25, MPEG-1 and MPEG-2. Multi-channel effects are achieved on a single channel, freeing switcher rails that were once occupied by numerous CGs, DDRs, logo generators and other equipment.

Inca RTX’s multilayer environment allows the simultaneous display of text, graphics, animations, video, DVE, rolls, crawls and more. Screen elements can be displayed on an infinite number of overlapping layers, providing broadcasters with maximum flexibility and creative control over their screen output. Screen elements can also be combined with real-time motion effects, such as transitions on running effects like crawls and rolls, real-time clip-to-clip transitions, and organic dissolves.
