Playbox is expanding its international operation with the creation of Playbox Technology India. The company has also opened two offices in Delhi and Mumbai from which it will support sales and support to it s 400 plus existing customers on the subcontinent.
Rajiv Puri has been appointed as Managing Director of the new Indian subsidiary, bringing several years' experience in the broadcast television industry and Playbox says the move means it is well placed to take advantage of the opportunities India's booming broadcast market affords.
Vassil Lefterov, CEO Playbox Technology, said: "We have a rapidly growing number of clients in India and as with all our clients around the world, each have different requirements. This business is not about selling boxes but understanding customers' needs and ensuring they get the workflow solution they want at the price they can afford.
