Orad Hi-Tec Systems Ltd. has provided PCCW's now TV Sport Channel with a tailor-made suite of sports graphics solutions valued at more than US$750,000.
The system will be used to cover the production of the English Premier League, the Italian Seria A and other premium football leagues from around the world.
As part of the agreement, Orad has agreed to provide an end-to-end solution that has been designed to address the specific production requirements of the now TV Sport Channel. The solution is deployed over multiple studios and includes real time statistical collection, graphic control and playout, and a unique sponsorship module which manages the display of sponsorships during the game.
Orad TrackVision systems are also to be used to superimpose virtual graphics over the playing field.
