Harris Corp. recently appointed Joseph Saade as technical sales consultant, Transmission and Networking solutions, for its Broadcast Communications business in the Middle East.
Based in Harris's offices in Dubai Media City, Saade is responsible for enhancing the Harris transmission and networking presence in the Middle East, while supporting the growth the region has experienced in recent years.
With more than 20 years of experience in the broadcast industry, Saade has held various technical consulting positions in the Middle East with several high-profile broadcasters. He has specialized in TV and radio, distribution and contribution networks and, most recently, focused on leading mobile TV and IPTV initiatives.
"Joseph brings Harris a wealth of regional experience and technology knowledge that will help sustain the company's overall business growth in the Middle East," said Said Bacho, managing director, Harris Broadcast Middle East. "Joseph will be responsible for identifying and maximizing opportunities to grow our transmission and networking business in the region, and liaising with key accounts and with our channel to promote our comprehensive range of solutions."
