Genesis delivers the news

Genesis Networks has delivered a fully managed distribution services for delivery of EuroNews to audiences in North and South America.

A fully managed network backhaul and distribution system from Genesis Networks, including fiber connectivity, links the EuroNews master control facility in Lyon, France, to the Genesis Networks uplink facilities in New York and Atlanta. The signals are up-linked to the Genesis Networks cable distribution platforms on Galaxy 23 and Intelsat 9 satellites for access by EuroNews' major cable and DTH affiliates across North and South America. The turnkey transmission solution also includes delivery of seven audio signals in English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Russian.

To facilitate the lunch of EuroNews in Latin America, Genesis Networks will procure and administer IRDs and authorization codes for each affiliate that joins the service. EuroNews will also have access to Genesis Networks' IRIS software and ultralinks in order to monitor the quality of transmissions across the globe.
