French broadcaster France 3 has selected Opticomm to equip three new outside TV broadcast trucks for HD production in the regional centers of Marseille, Rennes and Lille.
The three systems, deployed and integrated by French Opticomm partner Alpha Photonics, include bi-directional fiber links and interfaces for HD-SDI, SD-SDI, analog audio, AES/EBU, Ethernet and contact closure.
The configurations were designed using the Opticomm Optiva modular series of products. The Optiva platform has the ability to digitally multiplex an unequalled number of interfaces for video, audio and data. Optiva also offers compatibility with control standards such as SNMP.
