The FCC's Technological Advisory Council (TAC) will examine Ultra Wide Band (UWB) technology at a meeting Wednesday, October 27, 2004. This should be an interesting meeting, as the FCC has invited speakers from organizations proposing two different UWB technologies -- Multiband OFDM and DSC-SS. The public is invited to attend the meeting and can submit written comments but there were be no public oral participation unless requested by the chair. Other speakers will address UWB applications and interference.
