FCC Application Fees Increase in October
By TVTechnology published
The Communications Act of 1934, as amended, requires cost-of-living adjustments to the FCC's application fee schedule every two years. The Consumer Price Index -- Urban (CPI-U) increased 7.7 percent from October 2003 (the date of the last adjustment) through October 2005. To reflect this change, FCC application fees will increase October 17.
Fee filing guides will be posted online Oct. 13. For more information, see FCC Public Notice (DA 06-1875).
