Anheuser-Busch plans to launch a Web site in February with streaming video, including sports shows, comedy, reality programming and characters from its TV ads, according to the Associated Press. Aimed at males between the ages of 21 and 27, the Web site is intended to attract a younger generation that’s more Web savvy to its product.

Sports Illustrated launches mySI
Sports Illustrated last week launched mySI, a free customizable, downloadable desktop application that brings sports fans news from SI.com and other Web sources. SI.com is the Internet home of Sports Illustrated. It offers breaking news, up-to-the-minute scores and broadband video.

NBC5 Chicago partners with PrepChannel.com on highlights
NBC5 Chicago has partnered with PrepChannel.com to begin airing high school sports highlights on “NBC5 News Saturdays” at 9 a.m. and on “Sports Sunday.” Under the agreement, PrepChannel.com will also provide highlight content for NBC5.COM.

Rogers, MSLE reach sponsorship agreement
Rogers Communications has entered into a multi-year agreement with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MSLE) to become the organization’s preferred communications supplier for telecom services, including wireless voice, data, landline, cable TV and Internet solutions. With the agreement, Rogers will become a platinum sponsor of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Raptors and Marlies.
