ExtendMedia Corp., whose software powers digital media commerce for media and entertainment players in North America, announced it has expanded its operations in the United Kingdom and Western Europe through a network of individual business development representatives and industry partners.
ExtendMedia is maintaining business development representation located in London and Milan, Italy, and is also an IBM Business Partner.
The company will make the announcement officially at IBC2007 in Amsterdam, where it will be working in the IBM stand to showcase its new version of the OpenCASE digital content services platform as part of IBM's Digital Consumer solution.
On show at IBC will be Version 2.5 of OpenCASE, a digital content services platform. Built on a service-oriented architecture, the product gives companies flexibility and versatility to create, control and securely deliver high-quality media services. It includes modules that can be used separately or as a complete end to end solution, including metadata management, digital rights management, encoding, support for multiple commerce models, publishing and distribution.
