Evolutions' purchase of a new Discreet smoke 6 HD NLE system is attracting new clients for the company.
London post-production facility Evolutions has invested in Discreet’s smoke 6 HD nonlinear editing/finishing system and flame 8.5 visual effects system.
The company bought the systems to meet increasing demand for HD editing and visual effects work, and to attract new broadcast clients for commercials, titling, promos and station IDs.
XTFX, Discreet's reseller, supplied and sold the smoke and flame systems to the post-production facility. Evolutions has already used the systems on a number of projects, including the title sequence for "John Lydon’s Superbugs" by North One Television for Discovery Channel and trails for Channel 5’s "America’s Finest", sponsored by telecommunications company Toucan.
