Denver, CO--Encoda Systems has acquired Arkemedia Technologies, a U.K.-based digital asset management (DAM) solution provider specifically focused on the media industry.
The acquisition will accelerate the integration of Arkemedia DAM capabilities within Encoda’s full suite of media management, automation, and agency product offerings. Collaboration of development activities between the two companies has been ongoing for the past year. The first product available for general customer release, a dynamic integration between the Encoda D-Series broadcast automation solution and Arkemedia’s advanced DAM database, content ingest manager, and workflow functionality, is currently being readied for introduction at IBC, September 9-14, in Amsterdam.
