DST To Move To Larger Digs

Atlanta, GA--Digital System Technology (DST) is moving its Atlanta headquarters into a nearby 24,000-square-foot facility. The new location features a 6,500-square-foot, climate-controlled, isolated fabrication room, 6,000-square-foot warehouse, and 12,000 square feet of office space.
Even before moving its headquarters from Irwindale, CA to Atlanta, GA in September of last year, the company realized it needed more space than its 13,000 square-foot facility provided. The Atlanta location had been a satellite office with a second "palletization" (construction before shipment to the site) facility.
"Our relocation of the California headquarters to Atlanta necessitated the move," said John T. Duggin, Jr. DST vice president and chief operating officer. "Our need for more space immediately has been driven by several, recently won large contracts. I'm thrilled that we've found a true home office that provides us with ample room to grow."
DST plans to hold industry events in its new Atlanta digs, such as regional Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) meetings; in addition to classes and equipment/industry open houses.
DST will hold its first open house on August 19, from 11am to 3pm, to acquaint area video professionals with its new location and services. Sony Electronics and On-Air Systems executives will be on hand to demonstrate new technology. Sony's HDTV mobile van, the "Sony HD Like No Other" truck, will be parked outside the building for individual tours.
The new address is: 1890 Beaver Ridge Circle, Suite D, Norcross, GA 30071. Phone and fax numbers remain the same at (phone) 770-638-1378 and (fax) 770-638-0099. DST's website address is www.dstech.com.
