Direct-to-home satellite provider DIRECTV has added six new local HD markets, taking the total number of TV markets in which it carries local HD programming to 115, the company announced Nov. 19.
The latest additions include local HD programming in Des Moines-Ames, IA; El Paso, TX; Fort Wayne, IN; La Crosse-Eau Claire, WI; Peoria-Bloomington, IL; and Rockland, IL.
