Digidesign has certified the Blackmagic Design DeckLink HD Extreme card for use with Pro Tools|HD 8 and Pro Tools LE 8 on OS X Leopard.
With Blackmagic Design's DeckLink HD Extreme, Pro Tools users can monitor most common QuickTime HD and SD video formats directly from their Pro Tools video track out to high-end professional video monitoring devices, such as broadcast monitors, large-screen LCDs or plasmas.
The DeckLink HD Extreme features SDI, HDMI and analog component, NTSC, PAL and S-video capture and playback combined with 3Gb/s SDI technology and 3-D lookup tables.
