Dielectric Communications has purchased Flash Technology from American Tower Corporation. Flash Technology specializes in the design, assembly, monitoring, and service of aviation obstruction lighting systems for the communications, broadcast, airport, wind energy, and hydropower markets.
Flash brings to Dielectric a service platform for the automated monitoring of tower lighting. The union of the two companies is expected to benefit customers through more comprehensive turnkey systems, a broader engineering expertise base, and reduced costs associated with remote monitoring capabilities.
According to Greg Langston, president of Dielectric, “We are very pleased to bring Flash Technology into the Dielectric family to facilitate our continued growth and expanding emphasis on the superior support and service of our customers.” Dielectric will continue to operate Flash Technology’s Franklin, TN facility.
