Dielectric Aids in Rebuilding New York Broadcast Site

Dielectric Communications has inked a deal with The Durst Organization to provide TV broadcast antennas and line -- up to five master antenna systems over the course of the agreement -- for the 4 Times Square property in New York. The deal also covers Dielectric's EHTline and digiTline transmission lines.

The first deliveries, set for August, include three master panel antennas that accommodate NTSC and DTV broadcasts from channels 7 through 61. Durst also plans to use Dielectric's EHTLine for the three runs of line, two of which will combine with digiTLine for broadband use coupled with heat transfer.

Dielectric Communications has been involved with New York broadcasters at the Empire State Building, World Trade Center and other surrounding locations, according to Greg Langston, Dielectric's president.
