DG2L Technologies Acquires iVAST

(March 17, 2004) New York and Newark, CA--DG2L Technologies, a provider of next-generation digital media technologies, has acquired iVAST International, Moirai Media Solutions, Inc., the parent company of iVAST International, and iVAST Inc.’s entire assets including all intellectual property, trademarks, patents, and MPEG-4 technology platform products. iVAST International Inc. is a provider of end-to-end MPEG-4 solutions. It recently expanded its product line and market strategy to offer best-of-breed solutions from the industry’s top vendors in encoding, decoding, streaming, VOD, mobile and satellite delivery of MPEG-1, MPEG2, H.264, HD, and WM9. Ben Silva, president of iVAST International, joins DG2L as executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing, including new business development.
