DALSA acquires Broadcast Plus, set to open new California facility

DALSA has signed an agreement to acquire the assets of Broadcast Plus, a video equipment and services provider in Los Angeles currently serving broadcast and HDTV productions.
No financial details were provided. DALSA will use the newly acquired facilities to open a new Digital Cinema Center in Woodland Hills, CA, in January 2005.
The 12,000 sq ft full-service rental facility at 6160 Variel Ave. will be home to the DALSA Origin digital motion picture camera. The center will provide a full spectrum of digital cameras, accessories and services.
DALSA has appointed Bob DaSilva, owner and founder of Broadcast Plus, as general manager of the center.
