Atlanta-based Cox Television has selected Software Generation to provide archive management software for 15 of its TV stations.
The Cox stations will use SGL FlashNet as a central archive for multiple departments, including on-air, production and news. The archive system will be rolled out to the stations during the next three years.
Cox Television operates 15 TV stations and two local cable channels in 11 markets, three national TV sales representation firms and a Washington, D.C., news bureau.
