CEI engineer Brad Hughes discusses new Camden Yards HD setup

The new HD control room at Camden Yards in Baltimore is helping to give fans at home and in the stadium an HD perspective on Orioles games this season.

Designed and integrated by Communications Engineering of Newington, VA, the control room drives a new HD display screen and provides various sources for OB trucks traveling to the stadium to cover games in HD.

Last week, Brad Hughes, project manager and senior design engineer at CEI, discussed the control room. This week he goes into more detail and addresses how wireless HD cameras play into coverage.

This week’s Sound Off is presented as an audio podcast.
