Newsroom workflow developer Autocue has implemented its QScore data ingest and presentation system at a major unidentified Canadian sports broadcast facility.
QScore helps users organize and streamline the way they handle sports data--league, team and player's stats--and populates caption generator templates for broadcasts.
Customizable features include daily game sets that are served up from incoming data. The system also populates templates to produce scoreboards in real-time as the game progresses. QScore also downloads the names of all players from teams in selected leagues without the need to user intervention.
Qscore interfaces with the QNews Newsroom Computer Systems (NRCS) where scripts are built using customized templates.
Canadian broadcast system supplier and integrator, Applied Electronics, handled the implementation of the new system.
