Bobeck Steps Back from APTS

Jeffrey Bobeck, vice president of government relations for the Association of Public Television Stations is leaving his position, but will remain a consultant to the organization.

He joined the APTS in October 2002 after serving on the staffs of two members of Congress. On Capitol Hill, he served as director of the House Task Force on Regulatory Reform and was and was named as an official observer to the Salvadoran peace negotiations in 1991. He also worked in government relations with the American Automobile Manufacturers Association.

Before his work in Washington, D.C., Bobeck worked as a reporter and news producer at public station WOUB radio in Athens, Ohio.
