Blackmagic Design has announced that it has opened a new EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Office in the United Kingdom. This new European office will manage sales, business development, customer service and field support across the region.
"Establishing a wholly owned EMEA office, based near Manchester, is the final step in our global network and adds to our subsidiaries in San Jose, Tokyo, and Singapore," said Jeromy Young, Worldwide Business Development, Blackmagic Design. Blackmagic Design has also announced that Mediamachine has been appointed distributor for Benelux. Mediamachine is based in The Netherlands and has extensive experience in Blackmagic Design's product range, as the company has previously operated as European distributor for Blackmagic Design's products.
Also new are lower Euro prices for all the company's products, due to the strengthened position of the Euro currency.
