Belden Appoints Gray Benoist to Financial Post

Belden has named Gray G. Benoist vice president of finance and chief financial officer.
Benoist, 54, was previously with Motorola for 25 years, serving in senior financial and general management roles across Motorola's portfolio of businesses, including his most recent position as senior vice president, director of finance of the networks segment of Motorola Inc.
President and CEO of Belden John Stroup said, "I am delighted to welcome Gray Benoist to the senior leadership team of Belden. Gray has significant experience providing financial leadership in a dynamic, high-performance environment. His focus on results with a strong process orientation will fit our culture extremely well. I know that he will contribute to our success across a broad range of strategic priorities, including our product life-cycle management process, the adoption of lean enterprise techniques, and our go-to-market initiatives."
Benoist succeeds former CFO Richard K. Reece who left the company in 2005. Belden's Treasurer Stephen Johnson has served as interim chief financial officer.
