Barix joins Crestron's Integrated Partner Program

Barix AG, a manufacturer of IP-based audio, intercom, control and monitoring products, has become a member of Crestron’s Integrated Partner Program. The partnership will allow Barix audio-over-IP (AoIP) products and systems to seamlessly integrate into Crestron control platforms to enhance interoperability of control and audio distribution capabilities in the IP environment.

The integration of Barix device control within a Crestron solution will provide system integrators and installers with a versatile tool chest to reliably deliver voice and audio over existing network infrastructures. Crestron systems will be able to integrate Barix Instreamer (encoding), Exstreamer (decoding) and Annuncicom (intercom/VoIP) devices in a variety of applications.

All Barix products are inexpensive, low-power devices that are scalable; offer the reliability inherent to a design without moving parts; and serve as a flexible platform for integration into virtually any operation requiring audio transport and delivery. Barix also offers programmable software to engineers and users for universal custom programming. Local control, audio relay and low-latency streaming are a few examples of custom programs using Barix’s BCL software environment.
