Avid Technology will not exhibit at NAB2008 in Las Vegas next spring, according to a company statement released Nov. 13.
The news comes as Avid announced a major shift that’s intended to make it easier for clients, potential clients and the press to interact with the company. Based on market research, the company is planning several “client-focused” initiatives to build closer client relationships. Details of the plans are due in February 2008, the company said.
Avid plans to be in Las Vegas during NAB2008 to meet one-on-one with clients.
