TVE, Spain's national public broadcaster, has invested in Autoscript prompting systems for a major upgrade to its news production studios.
TVE has taken delivery of 18 High Brightness TFT 17-inch on-camera prompter panels for its news studios in Barcelona, Madrid and 14 regional stations. The order, secured via local dealer Moncada y Lorenzo, is part of a larger contract for camera robotics systems from Autoscript's parent company Vitec Group.
In all, TVE will install 26 Vinten Osprey Elite pedestals and 13 Vinten Pro-ped Pedestals. Autoscript's on-camera prompters themselves will be integrated onto Vinten Fusion FH100 robotic heads.
"It is exciting to see how Autoscript has established a reputation as an industry leader among broadcasters in Spain," said Antonio Jesús Rodríguez, Sales Director, Moncada y Lorenzo. "This new provision of services to TVE is particularly significant to Moncada since we are able to supply TVE with a complete automated on-camera solution."
