ATG Broadcast awarded BBC dubbing suite contract

ATG Broadcast, a European broadcast system integrator, has been awarded a contract to upgrade two video dubbing suites for BBC Post Production at Television Centre in Wood Lane, west London.

Both suites are used for tape-to-tape copying between a variety of formats including one-inch and Betacam-SP analog, D3, Digital Betacam and DVCam. The suites are equipped to operate in or between 625 and 525-line standards.

The contract includes installing a 50x40 video router plus a 32x32 audio router configured with five levels to handle two stereo program channels and timecode. The two suites will be furnished with Custom Consoles steel-framed desks finished in ash to match existing decor.
