Sharp ships Notevision line of professional projectors

Sharp's Notevision MB series of portable projectors using digital light processing (DLP) technology is now available.

The projectors provide better picture quality, sealed optics for reduced maintenance, extensive connectivity and brightness up to 3000 ANSI lumens.

The mid-range projector series weighs 9lbs and allow users to select the brightness level, with settings ranging from 3000 (XG-MB70X) to 2500 (PG-MB60X) ANSI lumens. Its low power mode, which conserves lamp life, is used in rooms with minimal lighting or without windows. It extends the lamp life to 3000 hours, and significantly reduces fan noise and power consumption.

The series has native XGA (1024x768) resolution, making it compatible with NTSC, PAL, SECAM and DTV/HDTV video signals. The projectors come equipped with a 1.5x power zoom and focus, with auto focus included on the XG-MB70X model.
