Shea Stadium has purchased a Ross Video Synergy 3 digital production switcher to drive its video scoreboard.
The New York Mets and Shea Stadium have acquired a Ross Video Synergy 3 digital production switcher as part of a recent video scoreboard upgrade.
The stadium previously had an analog 4:3 video scoreboard and has upgraded to an SDI 16:9 Diamond Vision LED video scoreboard for displaying quality digital signals.
The Synergy SD series of digital production switchers consists of multi-purpose switchers that work in live production environments. Synergy’s Aspectizer option adds an on-board aspect ratio converter that can handle a mix of 4:3 and 16:9 sources while maintaining the correct aspect ratio at all times.
