Dave Guerrero has been appointed vice president and general manager of the test and measurement portion of Leitch's Infrastructure product line, following the retirement of former Videotek president and founder, Phil Steyaert.
Before joining Videotek in 2002, Guerrero served as engineering supervisor for the coverage of numerous live events, including the Olympics, and NFL and NBA championship games. In his previous position as Videotek's vice president of advanced technology, Guerrero worked in concert with numerous industry professionals and the Videotek engineering team to develop much of the division's new technology.
Guerrero is an active member of SMPTE, AES, SBE and IEEE, has earned two Emmy Awards, and regularly presents technical papers.
