Your Instructor:

Jonathon Roberts is currently working in the field of business enterprise solutions with a focus on education through technology and specialized software for the fields of broadcast, government, sports information and healthcare.

His career includes over ten years of information technology experience, beginning in the late 1990’s when he served as a desktop support technician for the University of Central Florida. He then spent 3 years working for Global Service Solutions as a desktop support and network technician, earning the classification of Network Administrator II before GSS was acquired by CompUSA. Jonathon was a repair and maintenance technician for CompUSA’s Altamonte Springs service department and was subsequently hired as Director of Information Technology for the UCF Athletics Association.

Jonathon has also managed several web design and consulting projects utilizing multiple technologies including MS WebExpressions and Access, Macromedia’s DreamWeaver and FlashMX, SQL server and XML. These projects include intranet design for the Golf Channel’s network operations department website, the student football ticket lottery for the University of Central Florida, and corporate websites for Orlando-based firms Image Direct Marketing and Center Contracting Corporation.
