Brocade Communications Systems has announced that its technology will enable a complete 4Gb/sec SAN infrastructure on the new HP StorageWorks EVA 4Gb/s disk array, and that the complete family of Brocade-based 4Gb/s SAN switchers and directors is now available directly from HP.
Brocade's technology is available in a complete family of HP B-Series StorageWorks SAN switches in platforms supporting 8- to 16-port and 16- to 32-port configurations.
An embedded module for the HP p-Class BladeSystem is 4Gb/s-ready. The Brocade-designed 4Gb/s director is offered by HP as the StorageWorks SAN Director 4/256.
