Philips AdtraXion software is intended to provide a turnkey digital signage solution that supports customization of information and branding messages.

ActiveLight recently announced new distribution partnerships with Philips and Magenta Research.

ActiveLight will distribute Philips full line of digital signage products, including professional plasma and LCD displays. For example, ActiveLight will carry Philips' 42in LCD Monitor, which is network controllable for remote management and offers WXGA wide format 1366x768 resolution.

The deal with Magenta Research also encompasses the company’s full product line, including the MultiView Series of transmitter, receiver, switcher and distributive systems for a range of A/V applications, especially digital signage. Magenta is an innovator in high-resolution video-over-Cat5 technology, said Brad Gleeson, president and COO of ActiveLight.
