“South Park” Supervising Sound Editor Bruce Howell uses the Virtual Katy software to accelerate the sound post process for the animated show.
The animated series has a demanding post-production schedule. Each show topic is developed, animated, cut and aired within a week. According to Howell, Virtual Katy reduced a 20-hour-per-week-per-show job of conforming sessions to a 20-minute-per-week-per-show job, freeing up additional time for sound design, music and mixing.
