Control and monitoring solutions provider Videoframe has recently made available two control panels, the VTECS 2 and VTECS 5. Both VTECS units were built to work seamlessly with AJA’s FS1 frame synchronizer by way of a design protocol. When the VTECS protocol is not present, Videoframe VNODE interface products can be integrated with third-party equipment, or adapt to protocols translated over Ethernet, RS-232, RS-422 or GPI links
Both units feature built in flash memory, utilize a 100 Base-T Ethernet connection and have no limit to the number of devices they can control. Error monitoring is provided by a SNMP agent via SNMP management software.
