Broadcast systems integrator TV Magic launched its new i/O Workflow product line at NAB2007. Part of a scalable system designed to boost production workflow, i/O Workflow's modular components can be used independently or together to enable affordable and efficient ingest, editing, news production and digital media delivery.
i/O Workflow offers solutions for many applications from ingest and edit to news to the Web. i/ONews is an edit-to-air solution that combines hardware and specialized software components. Starting with Apple's Final Cut Studio, i/ONews is based on current news and production workflows and uses several layers of checks and redundancies to eliminate errors. The system is designed for small to midsize facilities, and allows directors, producers and technical directors to have control of the file-based digital playback.
