TSL to debut new products at IBC 2009

Broadcast systems integrator TSL has announced it will debut several new products at the upcoming IBC 2009 show. The show will mark the world debut of the multistandard, multiformat PAM2-3G16 precision audio monitor, and the upgraded AMU2-2MAS and AMU1- BAS audio monitors. The exhibition will take place in Amsterdam, Netherlands from September 11-15, with TSL in booth 10.B41.

The new PAM2-3G16 simplifies monitoring of Dolby E/D or discreet multichannel audio using preset menus and shortcut keys for rapid and intuitive access to critical elements. The system offers intuitive flexibility in terms of user-selectable scales, ballistics, range of input/output signals supported and the ability to dissect and monitor any multichannel audio signal structure from mixed mono, stereo and 5.1 surround. The PAM2-3G16 is a 2RU design with large OLED displays and a total of 10 buttons for menu access and recall/management of user presets. Sixteen bar graphs are simultaneously displayed, enabling users to view four groups of embedded audio or eight AES pairs at a glance.

In addition, TSL will introduce major customer-driven upgrades to its industry-favorite AMU1 and AMU2 audio monitors at IBC. Designated the AMU2-2MAS and AMU1- BAS, these products have been upgraded to include speakers. Also of note is that the AMU1-BAS, along with all 106-segment bar graph products, will now include loudness measurement to specification ITU-RBS.1770.
