Time Warner Cable has begun offering Beat the Traffic to digital cable customers in Southern California.

Beat the Traffic offers real-time traffic information on digital cable channel TWC SoCal 101, online and on mobile devices. Beat the Traffic programming airs on the digital channel during peak morning and evening commute hours and provides real-time reports on traffic trouble spots in Southern California, including Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Beat the Traffic provides 3-D maps of roads and highways, displaying current and real-time traffic data pulled directly from the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), other local public traffic monitoring networks and GPS devices.
