At NAB2007, Tandberg Television will unveil its "Any Platform to Any Device" offering with the debut of an open software solution that enables delivery of digital video services across cable, IPTV, Internet, wireless and satellite networks from a central back-office platform. This includes the U.S. debut of the WatchPoint Workflow System for automated and streamlined asset management.

The company will also highlight its recent launch of mobile TV distribution solutions with a new next-generation mobile TV encoder--the mPlex (MobilePlex). It offers eight times the density of current mobile TV solutions.

Tandberg will also show its next-generation high-definition and standard-definition MPEG-4 AVC encoders with Intelligent Compression Engine (ICE3), the basis for the new Tandberg iPlex UltraCompression HD and SD IPTV headend. The iPlex UltraCompression video processing system combines a wide choice of density and enhanced features with top-flight picture quality performance and promises bandwidth improvement of up to 50 percent over previously deployed MPEG-4 AVC units.

Tandberg Television will be in booth SU4211.
