At NAB2006, SGI and its application partners will demonstrate collaborative management solutions for news and sports production at the affiliate and league level.
SGI will also feature professional services engagements for the more complex collaborative management requirements of large television production and archive facilities.
The main stage area will once again feature the Sony SXRD 4K projector and focus on the content management workflow of 4K digital cinema mastering. SGI Media Fusion technology will be used to illustrate the collaborative management.
In the new technology area, SGI will debut several products, including new storage products, network and storage interfaces and the new blade architecture of the SGI Altix and Silicon Graphics Prism product lines.
