SAV to introduce 2-D DVE for MX-AIR switcher

At NAB2005, SAV will introduce a dual channel 2-D DVE, network support and extended input options for its MX-AIR switcher.

The DVE option, which fits into the MX-AIR frame, is a dual channel 2-D DVE that can work in several modes, including: video and video, video and key, and video and preview.

The inputs feeding the DVE are selectable by the key bus and can be squeezed, teased and cropped. They also can have color borders added and 2-D xyz moves performed.

The effects are controlled via the T-bar, automatically or the auto-transition button. They can be recalled from a library of 40 presets or can be created via the user-friendly touch screen and joystick.

The new network option allows up to 48 master control panels to control any of 48 MX-AIR main frames. SAV will also offer a new option to integrate extra-levels of DSKs, logos, texts, clocks generators and a digital multichannel digital audio mixer.
