QTV Cues up Prompter Advances

QTV, a member of the Autocue Group of companies, will showcase its lineup of teleprompting systems at NAB2007, including the U.S. launch of the QNxt prompting system and the MSP08, the smallest daylight-readable prompter yet, according to the company.

QNxt is an IP-based, networked prompting system. The prompting application on the PC connects to a hardware component (the QBox) over a wired or wireless Ethernet link, so QBox can be controlled locally or remotely.

The MSP08 prompter is the newest addition to the Master Series family. In combination with QNxt, the MSP08 delivers benefits especially in more challenging field environments. QNxt untethers the lightweight MSP08 from the control PC and camera, enabling the camera operator to get the best shots, while the presenter looks more professional and fluent thanks to the prompter.

The company will also highlight the rest of its Master series of prompters, including a top-mounted prompter. The Professional series is an affordable range of prompters designed for the emerging broadcast markets such as smaller stations and corporate, religious and educational broadcasters.

QTV will be in booth SU14612.
