Playbox to Unveil TrafficBox

PlayBox Technology will highlight its new TrafficBox, a full-blown traffic management system, at NAB2007.

TrafficBox has all the features needed for program planning, traffic scheduling and advertising sales operations and can be integrated with the PlayBox automation system to achieve a more efficient workflow. As with other PlayBox products, TrafficBox runs on a PC.

TrafficBox is designed for fast delivery and quick set-up. It can be downloaded and installed via the Internet, and then remotely configured by PlayBox support staff. Online training and support are also available.

"PlayBox Automation by default interfaces to many third-party traffic management systems such as IBMS, Sintec Media's ONAIR, BTS, and more, but the price of these systems was too high for many of our customers," said PlayBox CEO Vassil Lefterov. "TrafficBox changes that. It should be affordable for everyone. TrafficBox was the last item PlayBox Technology needed to complete our PlayBox suite of transmission equipment all running on standard platforms."

PlayBox will also exhibit its existing product line including its Broadcast Automation System, supporting a wide range of I/O interfaces, video standards, DVEs and graphics; TitleBox, for channel branding; SubtitlePlus, a WYSIWYG universal multilanguage subtitling system; and DVB Workflow.

Playbox will be in booth N2938.
