Pilat Media at NAB2008 will present a new module for the company’s Integrated Broadcast Management System (IBMS), enabling advertising to be automatically inserted according to the household or individual subscriber profile across mobile TV and other platforms.
The new module automatically executes both traditional and targeted advertising from one system and supports both linear and nonlinear platforms. Advertising can be specified for the household or consumer, program viewed, time of day and location and delivered with all underlying business processes to book, air and bill. The ability to support nonlinear applications — new to the system — allows customers to maximize content already residing on the IBMS by repurposing it for use on newer platforms, such as mobile TV.
